A couple months ago I (well, my boyfriend) picked up some picture
frames from the side of the road that were destined for the trash can.
None of them had glass or any backing,
but I knew I could give them a new lease on life!
Some of them could not be saved, but those that were are loving life now!I took the two of the frames and painted them with matte black spray paint.
Then added some wire fencing I painted black as well.
I measured and cut (only suffering a few cuts myself) the wire fencing to fit inside the
frame (where the glass would be) and secured using a staple gun.
After giving the piece one more coat of paint, I stapled some coordinating fabric
to the back of the frame.
The clothespins I bought didn't look right on the frames, so I headed back to the
store and picked up some mini clothespins.
I then painted and mod podged the clothespins in coordinating papers and viola!

P.S. I linked to Fingerprint's Feature Yourself Friday, and Frugalicious Friday.

Nice work! I love old frames and have a ridiculous number of them in my basement..waiting for a new life. This has given me some inspiration. Thanks!
