I am currently in the midst of a glitter bender. I am compulsively finding things that I think would be better with glitter. Does anyone know where a Glitteraholics Anonymous meeting is?
Anyway, these are some earrings I bought to go with the bracelet in this post.
They were not so bad, but I never wore them. Enter Martha Stewart glitter in tourmaline, a beautiful deep pink hue. I used Mod Podge to adhere the glitter, but decided to not give these a coat to seal it in.
These are another pair of hoops (I really like hoop earrings) that I didn't wear because the cheap-o metal was starting to tarnish.
One of my favorite colors of this spring is turquoise. I have a few new shirts in that color that desperately needed something glittery to match. Enter Martha Stewart glitter in feldspar, a gorgeous almost aqua glitter.
I love how these turned out and even wore them today. I didn't seal in the glitter on these either, and loved the subtle dust of glitter it gave me after wearing them for awhile!

These are so cute. I love glitter but hardly use it. After seeing your fabulous jewelry, I should! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING looks better with glitter. :) I had a pair of shoes that I had as a brides maid, they were so boring, but had a cute style...So I used glitter as well and did just what you did to your earrings! I remember everyone LOVING them. :) Ilove to give new uses to things that need sprucing up!

Hi. Visiting you from NFF!
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm a new follower.
Anyone that needs glitter-a-holic meetings, too, has to be someone I need to follow.
I adore MS's glitter line. I was at Michaels today drooling over the multi-packs.
I resisted. But barely.
Thanks for a clever idea!
